At about 10:30 this morning...the snow storm continues. Although this kind is light and fluffy and just begging for someone to go out and play in it. The total at midway is 18.5"! You can see across the way, the other balconies just full of snow!
We've been judging the snow based on how buried this car is. Which is sort of making me wish I had bought a shovel, because who knows what our car looks like!

Yes, that drift is taller than a foot. It was fun watching the snow drift grow from 8pm through this morning. I'm guessing that drift in the center is probably at least 15".
And of course, because this is Chicago, they're out plowing with special little atv/plow machine things! Even on Cullerton, which is totally a non-essential street.
I plan on making Chase go outside with me later...so more photos to come!
